1972 Honda CB 450 K5 Motorcycle (Glendale, CA) $2300

This bike has 9,300 orig miles. All original (except handlebars) and never been down. Runs perfectly. Great daily rider. Registration is current and good through Sept. ’10. Great bike to convert to a cafe racer!

Electric starter and kick start both work perfectly.

New fuel lines and filters, and rebuilt petcock. New battery and plugs. New gaskets on bottom end of motor. New Bridgestone tires.

Gas tank has some fading and paint issues, but has recently been recoated inside, so absolutely no rust in the tank.

Brakes are super strong. Original front disc brake has great stopping power.

HISTORY OF THE 1972 CB450
<br>
The CB450K5 was sold in 1972 in one of three colors: Candy Garnet Brown, Light Ruby Red, or Candy Bacchus Olive. The gas tank and side covers were the basic color (i.e., red, brown, or olive). The gas tank badge "HONDA" was metal. The gas tank stripe was gold. The upper fork were chrome. The headlight shell was black. There was a chrome strip on the base of the gas tank. The side cover emblem reads "DOUBLE OVERHEAD CAM 450". The front braking system used a hydraulic disc. The fork boots were black rubber. There was an independent speedometer, tachometer, and headlight unit. The fenders were chrome. The mufflers were megaphone-shaped. The engine was a 444cc dual overhead cam parallel twin with dual CV carburetors. The transmission was a 5-speed. The serial number began CB450-5000001
